The found footage for the experimental video “Vivian and Edward” originates from Gary Marshall`s Hollywood Movie “Pretty Women”. The video is composed of these moments of the original movie, when the protagonists Julia Roberts and Richard Gere are together and keep silent. The communication between man and woman is reduced to touching and looking. The result of the excision of every dialogue is not only silence, but also a view inside the gap of Hollywood, inside the melodramatic energy, to gender constructions and wrong projections.
